Meenu Iyer is an Economics graduate from Shri Ram Collage of Commerce, Delhi University and has over 30 years of experience. She has been with Vyaktitva since 2012, and is engaged in Leadership Development journeys that involve training and mentoring. At Vyaktitva, Meenu has worked with a range of organizations such as Airtel, Vodafone, Ericsson, COWI, Genpact, Tata Communications, Pepsico, Thales, and ITC Hotels, among others.

Prior to Vyaktitva, Meenu has worked with established organizations and start-ups: NIIT, Knowledge Platform, IBM, and B2R – a rural BPO based in Uttarakhand. The experience that Meenu values the most was the opportunity to set up an offshore delivery facility for Knowledge Platform, where she recruited a mixed group of 25 highly experienced people, freelancers and less experienced people and brought them together to deliver as a team in the span of a year. Setting up the values, culture, the norms of working together, project management and delivery standards, and processes and systems to work with other teams across borders, gave huge learning of people dynamics and how to lead and inspire.

Across her experience in setting up and leading teams, and mentoring leaders, Meenu believes that the potential exists in every person to become an inspiring leader. The mentor’s role is simple – to enable individuals to realize one’s own strengths and limiting mindsets, as doing that can help them unleash their potential.

Aside of enabling people, Meenu spends time in creative pursuits – learning semi-classical Indian music, baking, travelling and nature photography. Family time is about playing board games, singing sessions and hearing stories of the partition from her dad. Meenu also excels at doing pretty much nothing when the mood to “just be” takes over ☺.
